About Us
Corporate Jester was founded in 2006 by David Riveness. By then, Dave had been working in the training industry over 8 years partnering with such companies as NIKE, ESPN, Pfizer, The American Heart Association and Citibank.
Over that time, Dave began to see interesting commonalities in the challenges faced by many of those organizations. Besides similar successful behaviors (as well as pitfalls), Dave uncovered common blind spots that hindered success. Blind spots in individuals and organizations kept those organization from reaching their full potentials. Not only were these blind spot issues going unfixed - they were going unnoticed.
Dave decided to pass on his insights into a book called "The Secret Life of the Corporate Jester: A Fresh Perspective in Organizational Leadership, Culture and Behavior" as well as an organization that would help people uncover and address blind spots. Now Corporate Jester partners with individuals and organizations to uncover and address blind spots through keynote speaking, training and coaching.
